#5 - We are worldwide, be respectful to all group members, this includes race, religion, political views, ethnicity, etc.  
#6 - If there is ever conflict, take it off air! Temp call or other methods. No one wants to see your dirty drawers on the clothesline
#7 - Wait your turn. Leave gaps between transmissions for others to join the conversation. Wait for conversations to end, before changing the conversation

#8 - No promotions of other groups on the same platforms...we want people to stay in Pack and Chat

#9 - Members may be removed from the group for knowingly supporting, assisting, or coordinating with individuals or groups whose actions are intended to harm, disrupt, or undermine this group, or for making statements or engaging in conduct that materially harms our group, its members, or its legitimate interests. Removal will be based on conduct and circumstances reasonably determined by group administration and will not be based solely on lawful membership in, communication with, or association with another group. 

**Please note: Long-term inactivity may lead to removal, but you are always welcome to rejoin and be active anytime!

Turn on your POCLink radio.

On the radio, select Bind App to enable Bluetooth pairing if it isn’t already paired.

Open the POCLink app on your phone.

Tap the Device tab.

Select the radio you want to rename.

Tap the Modify (edit) icon at the top of the screen.

Enter the new device name (for example, RI-Rick

Tap Confirm to save the new name. 

Change Your App Display Name

If you use the POCLink app as a radio, you can also change the name other users see:

Open the Profile tab.

Tap your Profile Card.

Tap Name.

Enter your new display name.

Tap Confirm. 

If you’re creating radios for Pack and Chat, a consistent naming format can make them easier to identify. For example: RI-Rick

Follow these steps to join the Pack and Chat on your POClink Ultra radio.

Option 1 – Join Directly from the Radio

Turn on your POClink Ultra and make sure it is connected to the cellular network or Wi-Fi.

Press the Menu button.

Select Group.

Select Join Group.

Choose Join by Code.

Enter the six-digit Channel ID:

   944637

Press OK to confirm.

Wait a few seconds while the radio joins the group.

Press the PTT (Push-to-Talk) button and say:

   “Radio check from (your name).”

The Pack and Chat Hub uses Channel ID 944637. 

Option 2 – Join Using the POClink App

Install and open the POClink App.

Pair your POClink Ultra using Bind App and Bluetooth if it is not already paired.

Tap Join Group.

Enter 944637 or scan the group’s QR code.

Save the group and sync it to your radio. 

Switching Between Groups

If you already belong to multiple groups:

Press Menu.

Select Group.

Select Switch Group.

Highlight Pack and Chat Hub (944637).

Press OK.

Troubleshooting

Verify the radio has a good LTE or Wi-Fi connection.

Make sure you entered 944637 correctly.

If the group does not appear, restart the radio and try again.

Update the radio to the latest firmware if prompted.

Channel ID: 944637

Description: Talk, Travel, Connect ✈️

Change your screen or radio name from the default POC-1. Most of us are using this example John (AL). This gives the people on the other end of the transmission an idea of who and where you are calling from. 

The volume down button will scroll the message to the bottom. Hit the red button to exit message.

 From the main group screen, click the 3 dots next to the group, then select “Do not Disturb”.  That will let you scroll through without it resetting when someone keys up.  Once you finish reviewing you just have to cancel the “Do not Disturb” to return back to normal.
